About the Hall
Wilby Village Coronation Hall was built in 1953 by volunteers to commemorate the Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation.The hall, officially opened on Saturday 28th May 1955, and was the first permanent village hall in Suffolk to be built by voluntary labour. A very large and Spacious Village Hall with particularly nice wooden sprung floor for dancing. Stage, kitchen facilities, Jack's Bar and comfortable lounge area providing all kinds of refreshment. New toilets and cloakroom, PA and film showing equipment, TV, large car parking area, the hall is situated opposite the village primary school in the centre of the village. Wilby is approximately one mile to the south of Stradbroke, Suffolk.

The Big Lottery Fund has awarded us a grant for the Pond Rejuvenation Project! Phase 1 is now completed with our lovely new shelter! Phase II has now been completed the pond has been dredged and re-landscaped/re-fenced ready for planting! PUB NIGHT'S are now the first and third Friday of the month
